i dont recognise anything could someone give me a hint other than keyword legth = 9, tho thats the key i guess not the algorithm name Confused or is it?

It's a pretty common algorithm and I'm sure if you google algorithms with keys you may find some more info. You will need a very common crypt software to do this.
